Consumers elect to participate, or “Opt in”, to the mobile program, thereby giving you permission to text them meaningful and exclusive brand announcements or coupons on a regular and ongoing basis.

The consumer signs up by responding to a call-to-action to text a ‘keyword’ to a designated short code. For more robust engagement, consumers can be prompted to text in their zip code to complete the opt-in process. This added information allows members to be segmented and receive targeted pushed messages.
